Master's Degree and Internship Program of African Business Education Initiative for Youth FY 2026

1. Eligible countries

JICA Cote d’Ivoire office is in charge of activities related to Cote d’Ivoire and Togo. Candidates with nationalities of the two countries are eligible for applications to our Office. For others, please contact the relevant Offices of your country.

2. Eligible applicants

As stated in the GI, the main target of the program is candidates from the private sector. However, government officials and researchers are also welcomed, as long as they are involved in sectors related to human resources and industrial development, SME and startup ecosystem development, and digital development.

All applications should be submitted by email to the following address: jicaci_application@jica.go.jp

The subject of the email should be as follows:
"[ABE Initiative FY2026] Submission of Application_[LAST NAME First Name ]"

Deadline for submission of applications:  30 September 2025 (Tuesday) midnight

The application should be submitted in five (5) separate files:

  • 1 . Application form + annexes (original excel format, with digital signatures if possible)
  • 2 . Certified copies of Higher Education diploma(s)
  • 3 . Certified copies of Higher Education transcripts
  • 4 . Copy of Passport or National ID card (with English translation if National ID card is in French)
  • 5 . English proficiency test certificate (Optional, but recommended to include in your application, as stated in the GI)

Note: Digital signatures are preferred, but if it is not possible to obtain a digital signature and/or seal (especially from their organization), candidates can submit the pdf version of the signed pages.
