Working together with the People of Timor-Leste
The JICA Timor-Leste Office in Dili was established in March 2000 as a base for promoting JICA’s assistance for Timor-Leste’s nation-building effort. This wide-ranging assistance covers a variety of sectors from the policy level (e.g. formulation of national development plans) to the grassroots level (joint projects with NGOs, etc.).
Location
As part of this endeavor, we at the JICA Timor-Leste Office are working with the People of Timor-Leste to consider what must be done to build the new nation and then how to proceed toward achievement of this goal.
