Youth Invitation Program

JICA Youth Invitation program aims at enhancing friendly relations between Japan and various countries by inviting youth people aged between 18-35 to Japan. The participants are drawn from a diverse fields such as public officials, salaried young workers, teachers, students, and youth leaders. Invites from similar countries or occupational categories are brought to Japan for a one-month exchange program.

Accepting young people not only provides opportunities for local people in the region to experience international cooperation and exchange but also contribute to the promotion of education and global understanding by providing school and home.

JICA Partnership Program (JPP)

JICA has introduced a new scheme called the "JICA Partnership Program" (JPP), as a mean to render JICA activities even more effectively and efficiently by Collaboration with Japanese NGOs, universities, local Governments and public interest corporations (partners In Japan), who have a wealth of diverse experience and Know-how in development. Through this new program JICA will support partners in Japan who will be able to Work directly with the civil society in the recipient Countries.

JICA has extended the JPP program to Pakistan in 2005.JICA partnership program is formulated implemented and managed by the partners in Japan and counterpart Organizations in Pakistan. JICA domestic offices in Japan serve as contact points of partners. JICA Pakistan Office is responsible for facilitation as well as monitoring and evaluation of JPP projects with EAD.
