JICA’s Opinion Exchange Session for 5th Batch JDS Fellows

Islamabad, 16 August 2023: The Japanese grant aid for The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS), has always been a symbol of international cooperation and mutual growth. By investing in the capacity building of federal government officials, Japan fosters strong bonds with participating countries. In year 2023, 17 masters fellows & 1 PhD fellow will embark on their academic journey to Japan.

We, at JICA are eager to share that we held a meaningful information exchange session on August 16, 2023 between JICA and JDS fellows. Representatives from JICA and government officials came together to exchange ideas, based on which, JDS fellows settled their goals on what to do, during/after their days in Japan.
Our scholars were grateful for the program's support, and they feel motivated to create positive change in their fields when back home. It was very good networking opportunity for each one of us to have continuous collaboration and learning.
We wish our JDS fellows all the best on their educational expedition to Japan! Let's look forward to a brighter and more interconnected future together.
