Primary school students inspired by neighboring Sogeri National School of Excellence.

The first of its kind, School Excursion, with the hope of inspiring students at the Primary level to aim high and dream big! Grade 6 students of the neighboring Sogeri Primary School made the 2mins walk to officially visit the prestigious Sogeri National School of Excellence and tour its facilities. JICA Volunteer teachers at the Primary School organized the visit on Friday 05th July to give their students an opportunity to see what a possibility for them could be encouraging ambition and interest to pursue the STEM subjects. The half day excursion sparked curiosity among the primary students especially when part of the program involved practical lessons in the well set-up and fascinating STEM hub which sits proudly as an iconic signature of the Sogeri National School of Excellence.
The JICA Volunteer teachers will plan more such school excursions in future as the Japanese style of learning not only focusses on academic but also character shaping and gives a wholesome experience for students to also prepare for the future.
