Training Program in Japan and Other Countries as Technical Cooperation
Background
JICA has been providing technical training opportunities upon requested by countries that need capacity development of their national human resources. Under the training program, participants learn skills and knowledge in Japan or other countries. They return to their countries of origin to utilize their newly gained experience in promoting sustainable socioeconomic development.
The Training Program
More than 1033 professionals in Rwanda have benefited from the Program since 1978 through the Knowledge Co-Creation Program (KCCP), including “Group and Region Focus Program”, “Young Leaders Program”, “Country Focus Program (including Counterparts Training)”, and “Long-term Training”. JICA Rwanda Office will continue providing training opportunities to Rwandan professionals in the field of Human Resources Development, Rural Development, and Economic Infrastructure and Industrial Development.
