Transportation

JICA has been dispatching the advisers at EAC Headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania since 2007 to support the regional efforts of infrastructure development in cross borders and regional corridors in the EAC member states (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda). The adviser has also collaborated with the JICA project of improvement of trade facilitation and border control in the East Africa Region such as OSBP (One Stop Border Post) and customs in the activities including trainings of Master Trainers for customs officials in cooperation with World Customs Organization (WCO).
