General Public Notice

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Pakistan Office will conduct Procurement of Laboratory Equipment for the "the Project on In Country Training and Provision of Equipment for Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS)".

1. MAJOR REQUIREMENTS

The full and proper performance to be rendered by the supplier under the contract is to procure and deliver the Balochistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Mining Department, Takatu Campus Airport Road, Balili, Quetta, Pakistan (hereinafter referred as "Delivery Site") including unpacking of the Goods, installation of the Goods, testing/commissioning of the Goods and initial training at the Delivery Site.

2. DISTRIBUTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

You are kindly requested to fill in the attached "EXPRESSION OF INTEREST" and send us in return by FAX or e-mail by February 23, 2017 by 5 PM. Detailed information of the Open Bidding will be provided with you through the Bidding Documents, which will be distributed free of charge within February 23, 2017 by e-mail. The Bidding Documents will be distributed to only those companies who showed their intention to participate in the Open Bidding.

3. QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS

1. Bidder must be registered with JICA Pakistan Office as a Supplier. In case Bidder is not registered with JICA Pakistan Office as a Supplier, please access to the website of JICA Pakistan Office (http://www.jica.go.jp/pakistan/english/office/topics/business02.html)and take a necessary action.
2. Bidder must have an experience of more than 5 million PKR businesses in 2014 to 2015.
