Progress of Activities
1st:Counterpart training in Japan(Sustainable Agricultural Development from perspective of a basin management): Mr. Tayan Raj Gurung, Program Director and Mr. K.R. Chettri came back from Japan. They completed 1 month training course in JICA Osaka Center and Kinki University. They also visited Shizuoka Prefecture Research Institute of Agriculture and Forestry, Fruit Research Station in Shimizu, Shizuoka Prefecture.
18th:School Agriculture Program(Bucket rice cultivation): Package program was designed for the school agriculture program based on the experience of rice cultivation demonstration. It was decided to conduct a trial of the program in Mongar Higher Secondary School.
22nd:Counterpart training in Japan(IT system techniques for agriculture): Ms. Phub Dem came back from Japan. She completed 3 months training course in JICA Obihiro Center, Hokkaido.
