Technical Working Group on Agriculture and Water conducted a tour to observe TSC Project on 15 to 16 September. 9 members from several organizations as FAO, AFD, AusAID and others joined the tour.

Comments that we appreciated “Technical Service Center should be cardinal point for Capacity Development of Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology”.

Following their suggestion, we are going to share the information of our all training courses and it graduates to TWG. And also, find a way to collaborate with Provincial Department of Agriculture for double rice cropping in pilot site.

Note: The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has developed the national policy and planning framework through Rectangular Strategy in July 2004, Cambodia Millennium Development Goals (CMDG), and the National Poverty Reduction Strategy (NPRS).

And the Prime Minister instructed all line agencies to prepare a matrix of its development action plan based on RGC political reform. During 2002/3 the reorganization of sector-wide coordination was set out by the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Technical Working Group (TWG) consisting of representatives of the government and the main donors.
At present, 15 TWGs are working several sectors.
