National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ)

The reorganization plan for Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) to improve the quality and rationality of Skills Development Program is in progress by Skills Development Project (SDP) which is supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).The introduction of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Framework which is a part of SDP activities will standardize the skills and their levels with the industrial needs. Then, TVET in Sri Lanka will be implemented by using the curricula which are based on NVQ.
