College level Skills Competition in Sri Lanka Technical College Maradana
On the 10th of October 2006 we visited Maradana Technical College to participate for the inauguration ceremony of college level Skills Competition.
After lighting the traditional oil lamp, the students took oaths. Then the principal Mr. N.R.R.K. Wijenayake did the welcome speech and Director (Industrial Liaison & Carrier Guidance) Mr.L.M. Gurusinghe explained the objectives of the Skills Competition.
Chief Advisor Mr. Y. Umimae delivered a short speech and made aware the gathering with his Japanese experience in skills competitions and congratulates the students.

Finally the vote of thank was delivered by the Mr. H.A. Karunarathne, Deputy Principal of Maradana Technical College.
In the afternoon we visited the workshops which the trainees were doing their practicals related to Skills Competitions 2006.
