Mr. Umimae, Chief Advisor, JSCoT Project, visited Chiba Polytechnic Center and Chiba Polytechnic College of the Employment and Human Resources Development Organization on his home leave in June, 2007.

At Chiba Polytechnic Center he met Mr. Ariyasinghe, Counterpart officer in the Mechatronics Section of the Project, who is studying Servo Motor Positioning Control from May 2007 for three months. Mr. Ariyasinghe told him that after one month he now
almost became accustomed to both the study and life there. Mr. Umimae encouraged him to study hard and enjoy his stay in Japan.

Then Mr. Umimae visited Chiba Polytechnic College, where our officer was trained last year in Information Technology. The College sends its professors as experts to the Project and accepts our staff also in this year for their advanced training. He met the President, Mr. Kakisu and his staff and expressed his appreciation for their cooperation. Our two officers in IT section and one in Mechatronics section will be studying at the College from this August and October respectively.
