Report of Mr. Y. Mizuno, Short-term Expert, ICT
Mr. Y. Mizuno, the short-term expert on ICT, from 29th July to 25th September 2007, at his final presentation reported that following things have been done during his short period in JSCoT project:
1.Reviewed ICT current equipment and facilities,
2.Transferred technology in,
•System Administration Engineering
•Know-how sharing using web server among counterpart officers
3.Decided the tender specifications for JFY 2007 equipment and facilities.
In addition to these, he gave his fullest cooperation to make the "Technical Instructor Training" program on "Network Administration Technology" a success, in collaboration with JSCoT counterpart officers and JOCV personnel.
Mr. N.R.R.K. Wijenayake , Project Manager, thanked Mr. Mizuno for the training he has given to the counterpart officers. Mr. Y. Umimae, Chief Advisor, at his speech, said that he would teach our officers on his return to his Polytechnic College, Chiba and our interaction continues; we hope Mr. Mizuno's services again in future to further develop ICT course. Finally Mr. W. Daundasekara delivered the vote of thanks.
