In the morning on 31 October, 2007, Mr. Y. Umimae, Chief Advisor and Mr. J. Ariyasinghe, Head of Model Courses, JSCoT Project took part in the TV program of the leading TV channel Rupavahini. This program entitled "Loving Youths" is designed for young people and features music events and useful information for them.
Mr. Umimae, responding questions from presenters, noted the history and objectives of the Project and expressed his hope that many youths will study skills and knowledge at the Japan-Sri Lanka College of Technology and contribute to the development of Sri Lankan industry, while Mr. Ariyasinghe explained the concept of Mechatronics and stressed its importance in the industry.
The program lasted an hour and received good responses from viewers following the broadcasting.
