Mr.Nobuyuki TSUBOI, the Short Term Expert in the field of "Information and Communication Technology" and Mr.Thoru KAWASHIMA, the Short Term Expert in the field of "Metal Works" arrived in Sri Lanka and reported to the JSCoT Project to Serve from 14 th August 2008 to 27th September 2008, 16th August 2008 to 15th October 2008 respectively.

Mr.TSUBOI is a Lecturer in Information Technology Department of Okinawa Polytechnic College in Japan and Mr.KAWASHIMA was the former Head of Training Affair Assistance Division, in Chiba Polytechnic College in Japan.

Among the tasks of Mr.TSUBOI, make aware the Counterpart Officers of JSCoT Project on "Web DB applications", "Network Systems" are the main areas. In addition to that he has to check the syllabus of ICT Course. According to him, the Counterparts of his Section are kind and cooperative and the motivation is good.

With in the Short Stay of Mr.Kawashima, he has to cover on the following areas.

• Guide to implement a method to produce "Home Incinerators"as practical project.
• Assist to prepare teaching materials on Supervisory modules.
• Establish a maintenance System for equipment in Metal Work Section.
• Know-how dissemination on pipe welding.

Mr.Kawashima appreciate the motivation of his Counterpart Officers and the team spirit are the remarkable characters of them.
