6th Technical Committee Meeting (T.C) was Held
On the 11th Sep., 2008, JSCoT Project had its 6th T.C. meeting at the Auditorium of the Department of Technical Education & Training (DTET).
In the meeting, 9 participants from 7 first-class companies and 1 body including 2 short term experts in ICT & Metal Work fields.
The meeting started with an overall report on "The Progress of the Activities of the Project during the past by Mr. Wijenayake, Director of SLCoT, and Project Manager. The highlighted points were two Short Term Experts Dispatch, ICT and Metal Work sections and Workshop Plan in their fields.
Then it proceeded with active discussions among members, regarding the below mentioned points, while separating into three groups according to their trade areas, ICT, Metal Work and Mechatronics.
The highlighted points of discussion in their trades were about in-plant training and job placement for the first batch students of about forty, including enhancing industrial relationship between Industry and JSCoT from now on.
The meeting finished with fruitful result through active discussion.
