Installation of Mechatronics Equipment

A package of Mechatronics equipment worth over Rupees 98 million including Factory Automation Simulation System, Printed Circuit Board Making System (PCB), PID Training System and CNC Machining Center has been delivered to JSCoT Project on 25th February 2009. Installation, Commissioning and Initial training have done on 25, 26, 27, 28 of February and 02, 03, 04, 05 of March 2009.

Initial Training on PID and FA System was delivered by Japanese Engineers those are arranged by Senok Trade Combine Limited while installing and commissioning of that equipment.

At the final discussion I had with all counterpart officers of Mechatronics Section, the course coordinator of Mechatronics Courses, Mr. Rathnaweera said “The General idea of the above team of trainers was that a further training is needed to get the full awareness and hands on experience on all the machines installed, to update the technical skills of counterpart officer’s.”
