First Seminar for Agriculture Engineers Started

The Project provides seminars for agricultural engineers and technicians who have responsibility of dissemination of multiple farming in the region. In 2007/08, the introduction of such activities shall be given to 9 persons in each province concerned. The first seminar was carried out from October 30 to November 2 for 16 technical staffs of the 6 provinces. The major contents of the 4-days seminar were; 1) rural development; 2) agricultural extension; 3) project formulation and implementation; and 4) some specific crops. It was very busy schedule of classroom lectures and inspection visit. Generally speaking, the trainees got the idea in the seminar, according to the result of the achievement test. Most of the trainees said the seminar was useful for their future works for agricultural development in their responsible areas.
