Plateau Festival and DOKAP-TARIM Project Exhibition

In the Plateau Festival in Akçaabat, village of Kuruçam, a model site, exhibited their activities related to the Project. Farmers' groups showed sample of grass silage and ornament tree seedlings. Women's groups displayed and sold their silverwork (Telkari) and needlework. Women’s group from Coşandere came and displayed their product with Kuruçam group.

DOKAP-TARIM Project Team also attended the Festival to encourage of the public relations of the Project on July 19 and 20. The Team prepared bulletin board and information documents (Brochure, Newsletters, and Cultivation Calendars) to increase publicity of the Project.

There were many visitors at the DOKAP-TARIM exhibition, including officers of Agricultural Directorates and Non-formal Training Centers, and people of the model areas and the extension areas. The women in the other model and extension areas also visited the exhibition and exchanged their information and opinions.
