The Counterpart Training in Japan was implemented successfully for 4 personnel relevant to the Project for 2 weeks from December 6 to 19, 2009. The main subject of the training was "Sustainable Rural Development through Special Products", and the specific subjects were strawberry and blueberry production, tea harvest mechanization, agricultural marketing, and group activities. To learn these subjects, the Turkish engineers visited many places in the central part of Japan, including research institutes, university, cooperatives and various kinds of people's groups. At the end of the program, they prepared their "Action Plan" as an outcome of the training.
