Knowledge Co-Creation Programs (KCCP) have long occupied an important place in operations of the JICA Uzbekistan Office. It started in 1993 for Uzbekistan as part of the Official Development Assistance of the Government of Japan based on bilateral agreement between both Governments. As of today, JICA has invited almost 2,500 Uzbekistani participants to Japan.
JICA provides annually about 30 KCCP and allocates about 100 slots for Uzbekistan. The KCCP meet various needs of Uzbekistan in a wide range of professional fields, from education, health, infrastructure, energy, trade and finance, to agriculture and rural development, cutting edge science and technology and environment protection. A variety of programs are customized to address the specific needs of different target organizations, such as policy-making organizations, service provision organizations, as well as research and academic institutions. Following KCCP are allocated for Uzbekistan.

Projects for Country Focused Training and Dialogue are organized directly for counterpart organizations in the framework of implementation of JICA projects.
Knowledge Co-Creation Program (Young Leaders) for Uzbekistan
KCCP for Young Leaders is the program in which young people of developing countries are invited to Japan to take part into activities of fields which are considered very important fields of the countries. Talented young people in their twenties and thirties who are likely to move into positions of leadership in the future have an opportunity to go to Japan and participate in training in their fields of specialization as well as meet and associate with Japanese people. Following KCCP for Young Leaders are allocated for Uzbekistan.
