Activities in Iran

JICA is focusing on 5 priority fields as follows;

1. Enhancement of Domestic Industries and Vocational Training
2. Reduction of the Income Gap Between Urban and Rural Communities
3. Environmental Preservation
4. Water Resources Management
5. Disaster Prevention

JICA also intends to contribute to human resources' development in Iran by transferring Japanese know-how and technologies of these sectors.

In these ways, we hope to help build an affluent, peaceful, and stable society in Iran by working hand-in-hand with Iranian personnel.
