Training in Kyushu University in the field of IT Strategy and Infrastructure.

The training was held in Kyushu University in the field of IT Strategy and Infrastructure, in the period from 9th to 22nd February, 2014.

The main objectives of the training is to get introduced to the key Japanese universities best practice in the campus project management, and design methodologies for the underlying ICT infrastructure, as well as ICT services, to provide the project management frame work for the E-JUST new campus, and to suggest the ICT services and the corresponding design and implementation framework for the E-JUST new campus.

There are many important topics have been covered in the training, like; Network and mail, Security and Server, Firewall, Education support service (LMS, portal, OCW), Research support service (Private Cloud, library), Administration services (HR, Salary management, finance, student affair, common).

"It has been a great experience and I have learnt so much, I cannot describe how lucky I am to have an opportunity like this … and meeting a lot of highly respected people in Kyushu University-IT field, would be my highlights, also opportunity’s and the experience I get is unbelievable. Given my passion for the work, I have always wanted to be involved with IT in some capacity. The training has given me the experience and knowledge of what this field is all about. (Asmaa)"
