Project News

Following the official inauguration of the project in Vanuatu, the working group was established as the project implementation body under the responsibility of the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC). t consists of main counterparts in MOH, nursing council members, and senior lecturers of Vanuatu College of Nursing Education (VCNE). On the 14th of June, 2011, the first meeting was held in Melanesian Hotel in Port Vila. Besides members, there were some participants from relevant organizations including Save the Children Australia, Peace-corps, and JOCV. As the result, the participants reached to an agreement on:

1. TOR (Roles, Functions, Tasks, and Members) of the Working group
2. Annual Activity Plan 2011-2012
3. Outlines of the Impact study and Design of the Baseline survey
4. Supervisors' expected Roles, Responsibilities, and Necessary Competencies
