In order to disseminate the use of monitoring forms which were pilot tested and finalized in the Central Division to the rest of Fiji, members of Working Group D gathered for 2-day workshop to learn about these forms. The working group consists of Divisional Health Sisters (DHSs) and coordinators for In-Service Training (IST) from all four divisions. The presentations given by the IST coordinators on the current implementation status of the NB-IST related activities suggested that very little progress has been made so far in all divisions except the Central. To share the experience of the Central Division, three SDHSs presented their experiences on supervision, coaching and competency assessment activities. In addition, the instruction for using monitoring tools was provided in the workshop. This helped motivate the other divisions, and implementation plans to disseminate the monitoring tools in the individual division were made at the end of the workshop.
