<Fiji> Consultation Workshop on "Handbook for Nursing Supervisors" and "Position Description of Sub-Divisional Health Sister (SDHS) and Health Sister (HS)".
The project has reviewed generic Position Description (PD) of the SDHSs as well as the HSs, and created a draft of revised PDs based on the results of discussion among representatives of nursing supervisors in March 2012. Consultation workshops were organized at divisional level (with SDHSs and HSs in each division) on these drafted PDs for the purpose of creating a second draft.
In terms of development of the Handbook for nursing supervisors, the project team has developed a draft in July 2012. Consultation workshops were held to facilitate dialogue concerning the first draft amongst nursing supervisors in each division. The team is now modifying the draft based on the results of these consultations.
