Bangkok was in lockdown for one month from July 2021, due to restrictions imposed by the Thai government in relation to COVID-19. During this lockdown period, the project was forced to halt experiments using electric cars. However, from September, after restrictions were lifted, the experiment has recommenced. Cars have been presented to appeal to a low carbon society and the efficiency of a booking application to use the Small Smart Vehicle Service (SSVS) has been tested.
