Digital Earth System in Operation

On 19 August 2022, a Digital Earth System to visualize data layers, such as a simulation model on land transport and QOL in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region was installed at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University. The Digital Earth System consists of a set of large displays and a Geographic Information System (GIS) application to integrate all project research results into a decision-making platform for a smart transportation strategy and help stakeholders such as land-transport administrators, policymakers, and citizens.
