Reference Room of the Japanese Overseas Migration Museum

The Reference Room of the Japanese Overseas Migration Museum features a collection of roughly 20,000 reference materials and documents related to overseas migration and is open to students, researchers, and ordinary citizens who are interested in the history of overseas migration. On April 1, 2013, the museum was designated by the Prime Minister as a storage facility for historical materials under Article 5, Paragraph 1–4 of the Enforcement Order of the Public Records and Archives Management Act.
We invite you to take the opportunity to view not only the materials from the open stacks, but also rare videos, newsletters of Nikkei organizations, Japanese newspapers published overseas, and more.
