JICA Tsukuba facilities

The following facilities are open to the public.

JICA Tsukuba library is an open stack library for the public users, JICA staff and participants of Knowledge Co-Creation Programs. The library collections include over 23,000 books, 1,000 audiovisuals, and 500 different journals which are containing humanities (including the Japanese culture), and the social and natural sciences particularly about agriculture. Additionally, in our library we also have picture books and many other books and materials about United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in both Japanese and English languages for children and school students to understand about the world.

Library working schedule:

Open days: from Monday to Friday　
Close days: on Saturday and Sunday as well as Japanese National Holidays
Open Hours: from 10:00 to 12:00 and13:00 to 18:00
(12:00-13:00 lunch break)

You can borrow up to 5 books or DVDs for two weeks

Parking lot is available free of charge for our visitors who are visiting the JICA Tsukuba Center, you can park your car in the designated parking areas available for visitors, if you need any information, please contact our Front Desk
