Emergency Assistance to Republic of Panama in Response to the Earthquake

The Japan International Cooperation Agency will provide emergency relief goods as below in response to the earthquake disaster, upon the request from the Government of Republic of Panama.
1. Disaster situation
Earthquake, which occurred around 1pm（local time）on 9 October has caused serious human and property damage. According to SINAPROC, the damage situation as of 14 October was as follows:

2. Goods supplied
A. Emergency relief goods (from the JICA warehouse in Miami)
Tents
Plastic sheets
Sleeping pads
B. Shipping schedule
The goods will be transported from the JICA warehouse in Miami to Panama City on the next available flight.
