JICA President Tanaka Met with Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation of Egypt Al-Mashat

On December 18, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation of Egypt Rania Al-Mashat at JICA Headquarters.
During the meeting, President Tanaka expressed high appreciation for Egypt’s efforts toward stabilizing the Middle East region. He emphasized JICA’s commitment to further close collaboration, particularly in addressing increasingly complex regional dynamics, including the Gaza conflict and the situation in Syria.
In response, Minister Al-Mashat acknowledged the deepening bilateral relationship between Japan and Egypt. She conveyed gratitude for JICA’s ongoing support and voiced expectations for future cooperation between the two countries.
