JICA President Tanaka Met with Chief Advisor of Bangladesh Yunus

On May 29, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Tokyo.
At the outset, President Tanaka stated that JICA will continue to cooperate with the interim government for the sustainable economic growth and the creation of an inclusive society in Bangladesh. In response, Chief Advisor Yunus expressed his gratitude for JICA’s continued cooperation in the country.
Both parties further exchanged views on JICA’s cooperation with reforms by the interim government, further improvement of the investment climate, and the importance of human resource development in Bangladesh.
