JICA President Tanaka Met with Prime Minister of Eswatini Dlamini

On June 4, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini Russell Mmiso Dlamini in Tokyo.
At the outset, Prime Minister Dlamini expressed his gratitude for JICA's continued cooperation in Eswatini.
In response, President Tanaka outlined JICA’s projects in the fields of education and agriculture in Eswatini. He also expressed his hope for further cooperation, aiming for Eswatini’s development in the context of the upcoming 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) this summer.
Both parties further exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including long-term training programs such as ABE Initiative (African Business Education Initiative for Youth) and the field of disaster risk reduction.
