JICA President Tanaka Met with President Disanayaka of Sri Lanka

On September 30, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with President Anura Kumara Disanayaka of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Tokyo.
At the outset, President Tanaka stated that JICA will continue its cooperation for Sri Lanka’s recovery from the economic crisis and the country’s pursuit of sustainable economic growth.
In response, President Disanayaka expressed his appreciation for JICA's continued cooperation for Sri Lanka.
Both parties further exchanged views on JICA’s cooperation to Sri Lanka’s reform process aligned with the IMF program and the future direction of cooperation.
