JICA President Tanaka Met with Vice President of Botswana Gaolathe

On November 28, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with Vice President Ndaba N. Gaolathe of the Republic of Botswana at JICA headquarters in Tokyo.

At the outset, Vice President Gaolathe expressed his gratitude for JICA's continued cooperation in Botswana.

In response, President Tanaka outlined JICA’s projects in the fields of industrial diversification and agriculture in Botswana. He expressed his hope for future collaboration between JICA and Botswana for promoting development of the country.

Both parties further exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including collaboration in the field of the Japan Overseas Coopperation Volunteers program.
