On September 4, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Record of Discussions with Secretariat for the Integration of Central American Tourism (SITCA) and the Government of Nicaragua as representative of Pro Tempore of Central American Tourism Council, in Managua, for “Project of Capacity Building for the Promotion of Sustainable and Community Based Tourism in the SICA Region”, a technical cooperation project.

Project Title
Project of Capacity Building for the Promotion of Sustainable and Community Based Tourism in the SICA Region

Project Objective
The capacities of competitive local communities and authorities are developed for the promotion of Sustainable Community Tourism in the SICA region.
