Signing of Grant Agreement with UNICEF for Afghanistan: Contributing to polio eradication project in Afghanistan

On February 10, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to provide grant aid for the Project for the Eradication of Poliomyelitis.
This project aims to implement the polio vaccination for children properly through procuring polio vaccines in Afghanistan.
