JOB Vacancy for JICA Project (Driver)

Project for Promotion of Sustainable Coastal Fisheries for Blue Economy under Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is now seeking a qualified person as follows.


1. Position and Job Description
►Driver (one person)
a. Drive office vehicles (Toyota Land Cruizer)
b. Deliver messages and/or documents;
c. Maintenance of office vehicles
d. business trip and extended field assignments

2. Duty Office
Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Forestry

3. Contract Period
Three (3) months including fifteen days of probationary period (after first three months, there is a possibility to extend within project cooperation period (June 2028).

4. Expected Starting Date of Service
July, 2025

5. Qualifications and Experience
a. Timorese Nationality
b. Valid Driving License
c. The work experience as an official driver for over 2 years.
d. Language skill of Communicating in English
e. Basic business common sense; such as grasping instructions, reporting the progress/results of task, taking notes, being punctual, making an accurate calculation, etc.
f. Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
g. Basic and practical knowledge for car maintenance.
h. Not belonging to any anti-social organization.
