10 members of Teachers in Japan visited PNG 29th July to 2nd August under the JICA Overseas Training program for Education Administrators in Japan. The purpose of this training is getting know and understanding of the good cooperation activities in PNG's Education system and waste management through discussion and site visits, and the mission members will utilize their experience in PNG for better education for international understanding for their students in Japan as well. In addition to the visit to Embassy of Japan and JICA Office, the team visited Department of Education, Media Centre, Sacred Heart Teachers’ College/Bomana, and Sogeri Primary School to observe the JICA’s assistance in education sector. The team also observed other JICA projects at Port Moresby Sewage Site and Baruni Landfill Site. The team is expected to bring back their experiences in PNG and contribute to their working places in Japan.
