Newly Uploaded National Mathematics Textbooks and Teacher’s Manuals（for Grade 1＆2）

The National Mathematics Textbooks and Teacher’s Manuals for Grades 1 and 2 have been newly uploaded on the Papua New Guinea National Department of Education’s website.

JICA had supported NDOE for development of mathematics and science textbooks for Grade 3 to 6 in the past. Based on this experience, NDOE developed new mathematics textbooks for Grade 1 and 2 with grant support from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) in collaboration with Save the Children and Gakko Tosho Co., Ltd., a Japanese textbook publisher. This initiative marks the development of mathematics textbooks and teacher’s manuals for Grades 1 to 6, aligning with Papua New Guinea’s Standard Based Curriculum (SBC).
