Courtesy Meeting with Metropolitan Superintendent for NCD Police Command

On Friday, June 13th, Mr. Matsuoka, Chief Representative of JICA PNG Office, welcomed a courtesy visit from Mr. Warrick Simatab, Metropolitan Superintendent for National Capital District Police Command. Mr. Simatab participated in JICA’s Knowledge Co-Creation Program “Management of Correctional Facilities and Rehabilitation of Offenders” last year, and during the meeting, he shared the insights and experiences he gained in Japan.

Both reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the cooperation in strengthening the capacity of the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary through JICA’s training programs, as well as working together to ensure the safety and security of JICA personnel.

JICA will continue to contribute to building a sustainable society through close collaboration with law enforcement agencies.
