On December 12, an exchange meeting was held between Education JICA Volunteers and officials from the Department of Education.
The meeting began with JICA volunteers sharing on-the-ground perspectives regarding textbook utilization and classroom improvement, which led to active discussions on educational challenges and expectations for upcoming teacher training sessions in the capital.
This discussion marked an important step in connecting field-level insights with policy perspectives, strengthening collaboration toward improving the quality of education.
JICA will continue working closely with the Department of Education, Experts, and JICA Volunteers to ensure that children in Papua New Guinea grow up in better learning environment.
