The Italian NGO "CELIM" (https://www.celim.it/en/ (external link)) and the Albanian Ornithological Society (https://aos-alb.org/ (external link)) organized a 5-day birdwatching training course in Divjaka- Karavasta National Park from 27 September. The project made prior arrangements with the organizers to include counterpart staff of DKNP (CP)s in the training course. Four Staff/CPs, including those in charge of biodiversity conservation and environmental education, attended the training. The project plans to incorporate the results of the training into biodiversity monitoring and junior ranger activities. Already records from the field exercise in the training have been submitted for monitoring scheme in the project. A bird watching activity for Junior Rangers on 2 October is planned to be held in DKNP in the framework of the day "Euro Birdwatch 21".
