On January 27, a seminar on the development of eco-tourism in the Divjake Karavasta National Park (DKNP) was held at a hotel in the park. The seminar was attended by 37 people, including officials from the tourism agency under the ministry, tour operators from the capital city of Tirana, officials from the city of Divjake, local guides, and owners of hotels and restaurants.

The seminar began with a presentation by Mr. Shintani on case studies of Japan and around the world, followed by a wide-ranging discussion on the current situation in Albania and the possibilities and challenges of eco-toursim in DKNP.
