Environmental education program collaborating with schools

The project hosted students from a 9th grade school (equivalent to a Japanese elementary and junior high school) in the city of Fier, the third largest city in Albania on April 27. A total of 83 students, including 22 3rd grade and 19, 22, and 20 students from 3 classes of 4th grade, participated in the program. After receiving an overview of the Divjake Karavasta National Park from rangers, the students cleaned up the park, conducted tree-planting activities, and had drawing/paintings the results of their nature observations.

The project will continue to support the efforts of the park management office to systemize the acceptance of environmental education and to collaborate with schools nation-wise.
