M&E taskforce was formed to make monitoring tools for various NB-IST related activities and to implement a pilot testing by using such drafted monitoring tools in the Central Division. The M&E taskforce consists of Divisional Health Sisters (DHSs)/Sub-divisional Health Sisters (SDHSs) in the Central Division. Several M&E taskforce meetings were held in 2011. The monitoring tools were completed at the end of 2011, and tested in the field starting the beginning of 2012 for about 3 months. On 17 April, M&E taskforce meeting was held to report the result of using the monitoring tools and to hear opinions from the taskforce members about necessary correction in the monitoring tools. Some suggested including instructions for filling these forms. Taking into account the suggestions made, the monitoring tools were finalized and printed to be distributed across the country.
