M&E workshop was held on August 13th and 14th to share the M&E tools and its implementation skills in Fiji, which was to formulate it after use in the pilot area. After this activity, Tongan counterparts have formulated their own monitoring grids and tools. The Japanese expert explained about the M&E to clarify what the M&E is, then the experiences of practices on M&E in Fiji was shared to Tongan counterparts. The outcomes expected to gain from implementing a various NB-IST related activities was discussed in the plenary group, and various outputs to achieve the outcomes were discussed separately by each islands. All the indicators for the outputs were chosen by each island and written in their monitoring grids to report during the workshop. The finalization of monitoring grids and making monitoring tools has planned to be completed in October.
