Experient using stones imported from Bhutan

From June to July 2020, an experiment was conducted at Nagoya City University using stone materials imported from Bhutan. The imported material is a part of the one used in the masonry full-scale experiment last year, and we planned an experiment using the same material in cooperation with the previous experiment. A masonry prism test was conducted to reveal the basic mechanical properties of masonry building in Bhutan. Mr. Pema, a counterpart who participates in the JICA long-term training (Ministry of Home and Culture (DOC)) will participate in the experiment and deliver the results, experience and technology of the experiment to Bhutanes members. It contributes to the outcome of the project.
